Shift Leader

The Shift Leader helps with the everyday operations of the restaurant, along with the General and Assistant Manager. We provide you with hands-on and in-depth training to get you started on the right foot. Shift Leaders can work part-time or full-time hours, depending on what you are looking for. Many Shift Leads also pick-up driving shifts during the week to get more hours and money!

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manages a staff of approximately 3-15 employees. 
• Trains and develops new employees. 
• Balances the cash register at the end of the shift.
• Manages food and labor costs.
• Ensures company policies are followed while providing leadership and direction to all employees.
• Resolves customer issues quickly with world-class customer service.
• Ensures that health, safety, and security rules are followed at all times.
• Continues educational training videos throughout employment

Requirements

• Maintain a professional appearance in compliance with the Jimmy John's Dress Code.
• Position requires crew members to communicate, work together, hustle, stand, reach, lift, and bend throughout the shift.
