Shift Lead

The Shift Lead is responsible for supporting the management team by ensuring smooth daily operations, coordinating floor flow, and providing peer leadership to the service staff. Boiling Point is a growing Taiwanese Hot Soup specialty restaurant with currently 12 locations in the US and Canada. Purpose/ Summary: 

The Shift Lead is responsible for supporting the management team by ensuring smooth daily operations, coordinating floor flow, and providing peer leadership to the service staff. The Shift Lead ensures that brand standards are met and that every patron receives an exceptional dining experience.  

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Ensure positive patron service in all areas 
• Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues 
• Ensure staff follows all sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintaining the kitchen and dining areas 
• Must be knowledgeable in multiple stations (e.g., server, bar, cook, etc.) 
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety codes per BP’s guidelines 
• Ensure compliance with BP’s code of ethics, integrity and codes of conduct 

Minimum Qualifications:  

• 2 years of food retail experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably as a supervisor 
• Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills 
• Able to multitask and work in a team environment 
• Must be able to work flexible schedules  
• Bilingual Chinese preferred, but not required 
• High School Diploma preferred 
• All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process
