We are looking for a reliable and experienced Shift Lead to ensure all facility operations follow policies and procedures. They coordinate daily operations by delegating job assignments and providing guidance. A Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is not present. The Shift Leader demonstrates established standards to keep the buildings/facilities clean and safe for all workers and customers. This role involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial, and production floor cleaning duties as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • No experience required, on the job training can be provided

  • No High School Diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience

  • 1 year of similar work experience

  • 1 year of lead or supervisory experience

  • Valid drivers license

  • Provide leadership and direction to team members

  • Relay communication between team members, client, customers and management

  • Report to the overall Project Manager as needed, and relay performance issues, barriers

  • Assist with the training of cleaning team

  • Coordinate work assignments

  • Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned buildings

  • Manage security of keys and access cards for the property

  • Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Project Manager

  • Provide training to new hires during Saturday shift

  • Capable of standing and moving for long periods of time

  • Capable of lifting and moving items up to 20lbs

  • Clean and maintain buildings/facilities

  • Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors, fixtures, and equipment

  • Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems

  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities

  • Clean floors using booms, dust mops, dust pans, mop and bucket, appropriate scrubber machines, and cleaning supplies to maintain service for workers, and present a clean and kept appearance of janitorial closets

  • Provide leadership and direction to team members
