Duties and Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>- Oversee shift operations and provide guidance and support to Shelter Workers.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Ensure shelter residents receive appropriate services including meals, hygiene supplies, and medical assistance.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Serve as point of contact during assigned shifts and respond to resident needs, questions, and concerns.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Monitor shelter conditions and report facility or safety issues to the Shelter Manager.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Assist with shift scheduling, documentation, and incident reporting.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Maintain communication between shelter teams and ensure smooth shift transitions.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Enforce shelter rules and resolve conflicts with professionalism and empathy.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Ensure compliance with shelter protocols and safety guidelines.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Perform other job -related duties as assigned.<\/span>

<\/p>
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: <\/span><\/span><\/b>A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in emergency shelter operations, human services, or supervisory roles is preferred.<\/span><\/span>

- Ability to lead teams in high -stress environments with professionalism.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Strong interpersonal and problem -solving skills.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Strong documentation and reporting skills.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Proficiency with basic computer tools (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Word).<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.<\/span>
