Job Title-Shelf Life and Panel Technician
Location: Solon, OH
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Position Summary:

The Shelf Life & Panel Technician will support shelf-life studies, sensory panel coordination, and product development activities. This role involves managing product inventory, coordinating panel schedules, maintaining documentation, preparing samples, and supporting technical and taste panel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and document shelf-life studies.
  • Coordinate technical and sensory panel schedules.
  • Prepare, organize, and manage product samples and inventory.
  • Maintain panel rooms, kitchens, and storage areas.
  • Support product development, cooking validations, and off-site panels.
  • Track, analyze, and report panel performance metrics.
  • Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Utilize Client systems

Required Skills:

  • Food Manufacturing / Food Handling Experience (5+ years)
  • Shelf-Life Testing & Sensory Panel Coordination
  • Inventory Management
  • Data Analysis (Pivot Tables, Graphs, KPI Reporting)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical Instrument Usage

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Baking, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, culinary, or food handling environments.
