This entry-level position offers an opportunity to start a career in the mechanical trades as a Sheet Metal Pre-Apprentice, with potential for apprenticeship advancement.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in fabrication and installation of sheet metal products
- Supporting journeymen and apprentices in constructing and installing from drawings
- Learning to operate fabrication tools and equipment
- Assembling/disassembling scaffolding, measuring, cutting, and organizing materials
- Delivering materials to job sites and maintaining a safe, organized workspace
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to perform mathematical tasks
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical movements
- Safety-conscious attitude and valid driver’s license
