### Job Duties POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for the operation of the tube laser and/or Sheetmetal laser. With the use of work instructions and drawings the laser operator will accurately and efficiently produce a wide variety of metal parts. Hours: M-Th, 1:30 P.M. - 12:00 A.M. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Produces fabricated parts by following work instructions with the aid of nesting software. Has the ability to fabricate components made of stainless, galvanized, aluminum & mild steel. Can efficiently and accurately operate laser / metal finishing equipment & CNC Press brake. Must be conscientious with handling of product to uphold our internal quality standards Must understand blue prints, read a tape measure, use a caliper and follow written instructions. Full understanding of the use of nesting software and sheet laser operation. ### Minimum Education Required High School Diploma/GED preferred ### Minimum Experience Required QUALIFICATIONS Experience with the use of nesting software; Previous laser, CNC press brake fabrication experience and/or schooling required. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in laser related machining skills Must have some understanding of metal fabrication concepts and processes; Must possess a keen sense of attention to detail; Must possess the ability to operate tape measure and calipers, hand tools; Must be able to determine material types and gages; Microsoft Office proficient; AutoCAD experience a plus; Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, read a tape measure, follow written instructions; Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills. ### Shift Second (Evening) ### Number of Openings 1 ### Public Transportation Accessible No ### Veterans Encouraged to Apply Yes ### Physical Required No ### Drug Test Required Yes ### Compensation $22.00 - $24.00 / Hourly ### Postal Code 55328 ### Job Type Full Time ### Place of Work On-site ### Requisition ID 8663 ### Job Benefits The target hourly range is $22.00 - $24.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
