Kforce has a client that is seeking a SharePoint Specialist in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Overview: We are seeking a self-directed individual to organize, standardize, and own our network-related technical documentation. Today, documentation lives across multiple platforms and lacks consistent structure and ownership. This role will consolidate content into SharePoint, establish clear organization and standards, and proactively close documentation gaps. This is not a heavy technical writing role. The focus is organizing, structuring, migrating, and maintaining technical documentation so teams can easily find and rely on it for day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory and consolidate technical documentation currently spread across SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, and other tools
  • Design and implement a clean, logical SharePoint documentation structure (libraries, folders, metadata, templates)
  • Migrate and normalize documentation into SharePoint, ensuring consistency and usability
Organize and maintain:
  • Network playbooks, runbooks, configuration documentation, diagrams
  • Licenses, warranties, entitlements, and other operational artifacts
  • Identify documentation gaps and proactively drive completion with technical SMEs
  • Partner closely with the offshore HSC team, a primary source of documentation
  • Establish lightweight documentation standards (naming, versioning, ownership) to keep content current and sustainable
  • Provide light technical writing and editing as needed to improve clarity and consistency

Requirements:

  • Experience organizing and managing technical documentation (infrastructure, network, or IT operations)
  • Strong hands-on SharePoint experience, including site/library organization and document management best practices
  • Ability to quickly understand and categorize unfamiliar technical content
  • Highly self-motivated with minimal need for oversight; able to define and execute a plan independently
  • Strong collaboration skills, including working with offshore teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background supporting network or infrastructure teams
  • Experience migrating documentation from Confluence and/or Jira to SharePoint
  • Familiarity with IT documentation standards, runbooks, and operational playbooks
Engagement Details:
  • Type: Contract (initial ~6 months)
  • Work model: Hybrid onsite with the team
  • Schedule: Starting June 15 - Monday-Thursday, 4 days per week (some flexibility for the right candidate)

  • A well-organized, searchable SharePoint documentation hub relied upon by the network team
  • Clear documentation standards and ownership
  • Reduced dependency on individuals to -find- information-documentation is easy to access and maintain

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
