We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. This role plays an essential part in ensuring our manufacturing process runs efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is comfortable working with a variety of fabrics and sewing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and cut materials
- Operate all necessary sewing machines to sew fabrics
- Calculate material requirements for each job
- Work confidently with all types of fabrics
- Read and interpret job tickets written in English
- Communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) regarding work instructions
- Understand and pass all required internal hiring tests
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Learn and adapt to new tasks or functions as needed
Qualifications
- Previous sewing experience required; industrial sewing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manually cut materials
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Forward‑thinking approach - able to anticipate steps 3–5 ahead in a project
- Solid math skills
- Strong communication skills
