Set Up Lathe Machinist in Temecula, CA, working Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with hours flexible based on business needs. The role offers $28.00-$30.00/hour on a temporary-to-hire basis.
Responsibilities include setting up and operating manual or CNC lathes to produce precise parts per technical drawings. Key tasks involve reading blueprints, selecting tools, aligning fixtures, setting machine parameters, and ensuring quality control through measurements. The candidate should plan efficient workflows, perform routine maintenance, and interpret complex drawings accurately. Experience with Esprit CAM programming is a plus.
Qualifications require at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency with manual or CNC lathe setup and operation, blueprint reading skills, and physical ability to perform manufacturing tasks.
