Set Construction/ Builder
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Fall Drama and Spring Musical Set Builder is responsible for constructing, installing, maintaining, and striking scenic elements for the high school theatrical productions. Working collaboratively with the directors and production staff, the Set Builder will help bring each production to life by creating safe, functional, and visually engaging scenery. Experience with carpentry, scenic construction, and theatrical production is preferred. Evening and occasional weekend hours will be required during production periods.
This description is intended to outline the general scope of responsibilities associated with the role and is not an exhaustive list. The director is expected to assume additional duties as needed to ensure the successful execution of the production.
QUALIFICATIONS:
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT & COMPENSATION
In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, in the 26/27 SY, this role is budgeted for a stipend of $3,209.85.
This is a temporary, seasonal assignment with a fixed stipend for the contracted period. This position does not include year-round employment, benefits, or guaranteed continued assignment beyond the designated contracted period. Stipend and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement.
