Position Summary
The Delivery Execution Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating end-to-end delivery execution within a manufacturing environment to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective order fulfillment. This role works closely with warehouse, procurement, logistics, operations, and customer-facing teams to resolve inventory constraints, manage shipping activities, and ensure all delivery requirements are completed in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and prioritize daily delivery activities, including urgent and high-priority customer orders.
Create, process, and maintain delivery transactions in SAP upon completion of production and fulfillment requirements.
Review and coordinate product modifications, special requirements, and shipping readiness prior to order release.
Monitor inventory availability and collaborate with procurement and purchasing teams regarding stock levels and safety stock utilization.
Coordinate with warehouse and shop-floor personnel to ensure materials are pulled, staged, and prepared for shipment.
Manage shipping logistics, including transportation methods, scheduling, routing, and customer-specific requirements.
Resolve delivery and logistics exceptions such as address corrections, Incoterms questions, export documentation requirements, and shipment delays.
Create, update, and maintain system transactions and records to support delivery execution processes.
Process material classification requests and provide support for invoicing and order completion activities.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to clarify delivery instructions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure shipment accuracy.
Identify and escalate potential delivery risks that could impact customer commitments.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on delivery performance, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, or order fulfillment environments.
Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
Understanding of inventory management, shipping processes, and warehouse operations.
Experience coordinating cross-functional activities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with export documentation, international shipping processes, and Incoterms.
Knowledge of transportation and logistics coordination.
Experience supporting invoicing, order management, or customer delivery processes.
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
