    CTG is seeking to fill a ServiceNow SAM Consultant position for our client.

     

    Join a high-impact enterprise team responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions. This role will focus on software licensing, entitlement management, IT asset governance, and ServiceNow platform enhancements while partnering with stakeholders across IT operations, cybersecurity, and business teams. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on ServiceNow experience and a deep understanding of software asset management best practices.

    Duration: 11 months

    Key Responsibilities

    • Configure, implement, and enhance ServiceNow modules including SAM, ITAM, ITSM, CMDB, and workflow automation.
    • Lead ServiceNow implementation and optimization projects for enterprise organizations.
    • Manage software licensing, entitlement management, compliance monitoring, and audit readiness.
    • Evaluate and improve IT asset management and software asset management processes.
    • Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise applications including Azure DevOps, SCCM, Epic EMR, identity management platforms, and related systems.
    • Develop workflows, dashboards, reports, and automation to improve operational efficiency and asset visibility.
    • Maintain accurate CMDB data and support configuration management best practices.
    • Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions.
    • Troubleshoot platform issues and recommend continuous improvements.
    • Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

    Required Qualifications

    • Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including ITSM, ITAM, SAM, and CMDB.
    • Strong knowledge of software licensing, entitlement management, software compliance, and SAM audit processes.
    • Experience implementing ServiceNow solutions in large enterprise environments.
    • Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise platforms and third-party applications.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
    • Excellent understanding of enterprise IT operations and IT asset lifecycle management.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, Snow, or similar software asset management platforms.
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
    • ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
    • Experience supporting cloud environments and configuration management baselines.
    • Background working with healthcare, insurance, retail, or financial services organizations.

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
    • Five (5)+ years of experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments.
    • Proven experience delivering ServiceNow Software Asset Management and IT Asset Management solutions.
    • Experience leading ServiceNow implementations and enterprise integration initiatives is highly preferred.

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
