ServiceNow Platform Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a ServiceNow Platform Engineer for a contract to hire position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Columbus, OH. This hybrid opportunity can also be located in Detroit, MI, Minnetonka, MN, and Dallas, TX.

Compensation: $80.00 - 90.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
The ServiceNow Platform Engineer provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. The ideal candidate will analyze, design, and develop systems based upon user specifications, possessing an in-depth knowledge of the technical tools available for systems development and support while maintaining knowledge of technical industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve issues against ServiceNow applications
• Advise internal teams and lines of business regarding process and technology inefficiencies within the platform
• Perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation
• Maintain and improve the overall stability of the platform ensuring best practices are identified and incorporated into the platform
• Experience with ServiceNow best practices and understand the best solutions to remediate technical debt in the Now platform
• Manage Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and associated relationships, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
• Provide training and knowledge across the platform to our internal team and external business partners
• Develop reporting strategy and maintenance plan for platform wide reporting

Primary Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in application development plan, ITSM and Service Now
• Strong knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)

Desired Skills:

• Configuration and modification of the ServiceNow platform in the following areas IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Intelligent Apps, HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM)
• Familiarity with the User Experience Tools, Service Intelligence, and Service Experiences
• Knowledge and Experience working with Web Services, REST, JSONv2
