Job Description

HIIs Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations. The selected candidate will contribute to a high-impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission-critical systems and environments. The program is scheduled to launch in early 2026 and due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required.

Salary Ranges by Level

• Software Development Analyst 1: $70,018.00 - $100,404.00
• Software Development Analyst 2: $90,501.00 - $126,902.52
• Software Development Analyst 3: $113,524.00 - $154,102.00
• Software Development Analyst 4: $130,524.00 - $162,102.00
• Software Development Analyst 5: $145,524.00 - $180,000.00

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
• Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
• Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.
• Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.

Minimum Qualifications

• Software Development Analyst 1: 0 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field.
• Software Development Analyst 2: 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field.
• Software Development Analyst 3: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field.
• Software Development Analyst 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field.
• Software Development Analyst 5: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field.

Required Certifications & Experience

• Security+
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions, Flow Designer / Workflow.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Ability to support ITSM-based implementations and platform configuration.
• Experience with custom application development.
• Clearance: A TS/SCI clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Senior Developer Requirements

Senior Developers must also have experience with the following areas:

• 5-7 years of ServiceNow platform development experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining:
• Business Rules
• Client Scripts
• Script Includes
• UI Policies and UI Actions
• Flow Designer / Workflow
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Ability to support ITSM-based implementations and platform configuration.
• Experience with custom application development.

Desired Certifications or Training

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
• ITIL Foundation (V3 or V4)
• Certified Scrum Master

Desired Experience

• Experience supporting ServiceNow ITSM implementations, federal or regulated environments, platform governance and backlog management, user acceptance testing (UAT) and release validation.
• Familiarity with CMDB, Incident, Change, and Request Management processes.

Physical Requirements

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
