Description:
• ServiceNow Software Developer with minimum 4 years development experience in ServiceNow,
• required CSA Admin certification,
• strong oral and written communication skills and ability to leverage AI in their daily work.
ServiceNow Application Development experience in two or more of the following areas:
• Hands-on experience configuring and developing in ServiceNow, including form and field creation/updates (backend and/or Studio), Client Scripts, Business Rules, Catalog Items and scripting, group and role administration, flows (Flow Designer), notifications, email configuration, and scheduled jobs.
• ITSM modules, Change, Incident, Knowledge, Problem Management
• SPM modules Demand and PPM
• Integrations using REST API and Transform Maps
• CMDB Configuration and Development
• Hands-on experience configuring and developing in ServiceNow, including form and field creation/updates (backend configuration and/or App Engine Studio).
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model (tables, inheritance, dictionary attributes), update sets
• Develop, enhance, and maintain ServiceNow client-side and server-side scripting, including Client Scripts and Business Rules.
• Design and implement Service Catalog solutions, including Catalog Items, variables, UI Policies, UI Actions, UI Builder / Service Portal, Workspaces.
• Knowledge of users, groups, roles
• Experience creating, modifying, troubleshooting ACLs (Access Control Rules)
• Experience using Flow Designer, including approvals, task orchestration etc
• Experience with automated testing and quality practices: ATF (Automated Test Framework)
Proficient in the following qualifications:
• Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices
• Effective liaison leading technical development teams
• Strong facilitation skills to effectively lead discussions across multiple groups
• Oral and written communication skills including presenting to management
• Knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies
• Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices
• Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc)
• Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
• Problem/Risk Management
• MS Office Suite
• Knowledge in AI tools (Github Copilot, Playwright)
Preferred:
• ServiceNow application development experience in two or more of the following areas:
o ITSM modules including Incident, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management
o SPM modules including Demand and Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
o Integrations using REST APIs, including data imports/exports and Transform Maps, Auth/JWT, MID Server, Integration Hub spokes, error handling/retries, and monitoring
o CMDB configuration and development (tables/classes, relationships, IRE, data quality, and governance)
Additional Required Skills/Experience:
o A minimum of Eight (8) years' relevant experience.
o A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required.
o Typically performs all functional duties independently.
o Note: Special credentials (licenses and/or certifications) may be required at the Task Order level on a case-specific basis. "
Additional Provisions:
• All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
• Candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
• The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e. collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women. Place and Period of Performance
• Hours of support:
o The standard work week for contract staff will be 5 days a week and 8 hours per day preferable Monday through Friday.
o Contract staff may be required to travel to support business efforts.
