Job Title: ServiceNow Business Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)

Duration: 6 Months 


Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst to join a dynamic delivery team supporting public sector initiatives. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between complex business requirements and technical ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow capabilities and the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements within a regulated environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to identify business needs
  • Document and analyze functional and technical requirements across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.)
  • Create and maintain “As-Is” and “To-Be” process flows aligned with industry standards and best practices
  • Develop high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with project leadership
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning and defect tracking
  • Support organizational change management (OCM) through training materials and user documentation
  • Ensure solutions align with security and compliance requirements in a regulated environment
  • Conduct demonstrations and status updates to stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow Agile tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Columbus, OH

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with public sector (state, local, or federal government)
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and ServiceNow best practices
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments

Certifications (Preferred):

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation
  • PMI-PBA or CBAP certification
