About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Service Technician Mechanical to join our client's team in the industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of rotating and process equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operations, and mentoring less experienced personnel on proper operation and maintenance practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on centrifuges, pumps, and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions in the field.
- Verify and adjust equipment set points to ensure proper operation.
- Conduct inspections and identify potential failures before they occur.
- Support commissioning and startup of equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to other employees.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of centrifuge operation and components.
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and control adjustments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Experience working in field or industrial environments.
- Good communication skills with the ability to train and support others.
- Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience with parts and inventory management.
- Familiarity with installation and commissioning of industrial equipment.
