Position Summary

We are seeking aService Tech Managerto lead and oversee service operations for vending and breaktime equipment across assigned territories. This role is responsible for managing Service Technicians, ensuring timely and effective equipment maintenance and repairs, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at problem-solving, and is passionate about developing teams and driving operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Service Technicians to achieve performance, safety, and service goals

  • Manage scheduling, workload distribution, and route efficiency for service calls

  • Conduct ride-alongs, performance reviews, and ongoing training to ensure technician success

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations

Service Operations

  • Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of vending and breaktime equipment

  • Monitor service call completion, response times, and overall service quality

  • Assist with complex repairs and technical troubleshooting as needed

  • Ensure proper inventory levels of parts and equipment across service vehicles and warehouse

  • Manage service related projects

Customer Experience

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client locations

  • Respond to escalated service issues and ensure timely resolution

  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure service excellence

  • Dispatch after hours and some weekend service calls

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate reporting on service performance, equipment trends, and technician productivity

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and efficiency gains

  • Ensure vehicles, tools, and work environments are clean, organized, and safe

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in equipment service, maintenance, or a related field

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with refrigeration and plumbing systems is a plus

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly

  • Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement)

  • Valid driver's license with ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card

  • Ability to work in varying environments including warehouses, customer sites, and outdoors

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
