Service Technician III
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to help mentor others and participate as a leader with us. As an HVAC Service Technician III, you will tackle complex HVAC challenges across a wide range of systems, serve as a trusted adviser to our clients and mentor less experienced technicians. Your technical expertise, industry certifications and commitment to integrity will ensure we deliver best-in-class service every time.
We are targeting to hire in two geographic territories: 1. Northern Vermont serving primarily Chittenden, Franklin, Lamoille, and Washington Counties & 2. Central Vermont serving primarily Addison, Rutland, and Washington Counties. Our Service Technician roles may occasionally assist neighboring regions as business needs arise.

Pay range: $44 to 56/hour based on experiences
Essential Job Duties:
Diagnose & Repair
Hospital-grade and complex mechanical systems
Industrial steam and pressure-controlled systems
Pneumatics and advanced low-voltage controls
All equipment serviced by Service Technician II's, including:
Light commercial systems (RTUs, AHUs, WSHPs)
VRF, heat pumps, and DX systems
Chillers, cooling towers, boilers, and hydronic loops
Basic low-voltage control circuits
Technical Leadership
Provide on-the-job coaching and troubleshooting support to Technicians I & II, Installation teams, and Vermont Mechanical construction leaders as needed.
Collaborate with Sales to tailor service proposals and scope of work
Preventive Maintenance & On-Call Support
Execute scheduled PM visits as needed
Rotate through the department's on-call schedule
Documentation
Complete thorough service reports, diagnostic logs, and daily visit summaries
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience performing all Service Technician II duties at a high level
Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teammates
Strong ethical judgment and professional demeanor
Required certifications/licenses:
Natural gas, propane, and heating oil
Backflow prevention
Universal refrigerant handling
Type S electrical
Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record and able to travel to NY, NH, and VT
