As a Service Technician, you will repair and maintain diesel engine industrial trucks, focusing on Class 8 trucks, performing tasks such as engine overhauls, fuel and electrical system repairs, transmissions, brakes, and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, communicating with parts departments, ensuring safety compliance, documenting work, and road testing vehicles. You must keep your work area clean and adhere to safety regulations.
Requirements include 3+ years of experience as a Class 8 truck technician in a dealership or repair shop, valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), A/C, Brake, and DOT Inspector certifications, basic computer skills, and physical ability to lift 50 pounds, walk, and access trucks easily. Regular attendance is essential.
