What is the role about?
Reporting to the Service and Training Manager, the Service Technician will be responsible for field service and valve repair. While specific daily tasks can vary depending on the current workload, service activities include: instrumentation startup, configuration and documentation, calibration, troubleshooting, installation review, and problem-solving solutions or systems. Valve repair activities include evaluation and repair of automated and control valves, assembling new automated and control valves, and traveling to customer locations to provide service in the field. Formal technical training from our manufacturers will be a part of the required activities, which will certify your ability to competently work on instrumentation and other equipment.

You will have (required):
High School diploma or GED
Ability to use Excel, Word and web-based software applications; basic math skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to temperature conditions prevalent at the time; the noise level in the work environment is consistent with that of a fabrication shop/distribution center/manufacturing facility.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver''s license
Must be able to travel 60-80% of the time, up to 40% overnight travel
This position requires participation in after-hours service calls to support customer needs outside of regular business hours
