About the Role
As a Service Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the performance and reliability of Micromeritics analytical instruments. Working from our service center, you'll perform preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and testing on customer instruments while supporting our internal laboratories and field service organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills who enjoys hands-on technical work and wants to build a career supporting advanced scientific instrumentation. You'll collaborate with Technical Support, Engineering, and Field Service teams to deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Work Experience: 1+ year of electromechanical system testing, troubleshooting, and assembly. Experience assembling, repairing, or troubleshooting material characterization instruments or analytical instruments, or other electromechanical assemblies.
Education Required: Associates or bachelor’s degree in the STEM fields (Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or similar fields) preferred.
