Seeking a Service Shop Helper in Tuscaloosa to assist mechanics with vehicle inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks.

  • Assist with organizing tools, delivering parts, and cleaning components.
  • Perform basic diagnostics, help in vehicle system alignment, and replace worn parts under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure safety compliance.
  • Support in removal and installation of vehicle parts, communicating effectively with team members.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Basic understanding of vehicle systems and prior automotive experience.
  • Familiarity with tools, ability to follow instructions, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and physical ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Must have or acquire personal tools and be willing to learn new procedures.

Work hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with pay ranging from $18 to $20 per hour based on experience.
