Service Publications Manager
PACCAR Parts is seeking a Service Publications Manager to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of operator and service documentation for Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. This role plays a critical part in improving dealer efficiency, enhancing customerexperience, and maximizing vehicle uptime through high-quality and timely operator and service content. You will lead a multi-site team and shape the future of service publications by driving content strategy, AI-automation, and governance. This is a highly visible role requiring strong cross-functional leadership, strategic thinking, and execution in a fast-paced, complex environment. This role can be based out of Lewisville, TX or Renton, WA.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 3 supervisors, 15 internal staff, and multiple contractors responsible for operator manuals, service documentation, and content strategy
- Define and execute the AI strategy for service publications, including content creation, automation, and governance frameworks
- Oversee delivery of service documentation supporting new product launches and engineering programs
- Manage department budget, including vendor relationships and approval of products and services
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, regulatory, and Service Experience teams to ensure accurate and timely content delivery
- Drive continuous improvement of global Repair & Maintenance (RMI) software systems and processes
- Establish and enforce content governance, authoring standards, and translation processes
- Assess workload, prioritize initiatives, and assign projects across the team
- Identify risks, remove barriers, and proactively resolve issues impacting deliverables
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for service publications and reporting timelines
- Communicate program status, risks, and results to senior leadership
- Collaborate across PACCAR divisions on initiatives impacting multiple business units
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technical Publications or related field
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, including people leadership and program ownership
- Proven experience managing teams, including developing supervisors and individual contributors
- Experience owning strategy, execution, and delivery of complex programs
- Sound business judgment and a proven ability to influence others, driving alignment across functions
- Strong ability to manage internal timelines based on project implementation dates
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Seasoned interpersonal skills and strong team player
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level updates
- Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives to completion with persistence and accountability

Salary Range: At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $119,100 - $168,300 annually.
