Service Manager – Suntrup Buick GMC

Suntrup Buick GMC is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service department and help drive continued growth, employee development, and exceptional customer satisfaction. What You'll Do

 

  • Lead and manage all day-to-day service department operations
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain top-performing service advisors and technicians
  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and service department profitability
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including labor sales, effective labor rate, technician productivity, and CSI scores
  • Ensure a positive and professional experience for every customer
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer policies, warranty procedures, and dealership standards
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Parts, Sales, and Executive Leadership to achieve dealership objectives

 

What We're Looking For

 

  • Previous automotive service management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer relations skills
  • Proven track record of improving departmental performance and profitability
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with dealership management systems and service department processes
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
