Service Manager North America (Steelwrist, Inc., Newington, CT) Maintaining and improving processes for installations, services, spare parts and warranty work within the company to expand internal workflows, as well as high levels of support and service to Steelwrist’s North American customers; Managing Aftermarket team and on-boarding new employees; Reporting quality deviations or improvements to R&D and Quality departments in Sweden; Targeting new dealers and service partners for Steelwrist aftermarket business; Visiting North American dealers and customers on a regular basis for meetings and trainings; Coordinating installations, services, warranty work and trainings; Assisting the sales team with general technical questions; Setting goals and follow-up for all team members; Approving vacation days, purchases and expense reports; Creating annual Aftermarket department goals and budgets; and Maintaining all department tools, equipment and vehicles. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience operating an excavator; Experience operating and installing tilt rotator control systems; Experience integrating electrical systems on existing applications via analog signals, PWM and CAN-bus; Experience with using control systems for heavy equipment; Experience with using Open-S standard (opens.org); Experience integrating hydraulic valves for pilot control and high-pressure applications; and Experience with using monitor ERP system and Zendesk. Requires at least five years of experience as an Aftermarket Manager, Support Engineer, or related occupation. Travel required - 30-40% throughout the USA, as well as to Canada and Sweden.
