The Service Manager oversees all activities in the Service Department, including supervising technicians and coordinators, managing service calls, and ensuring efficient operations.
Responsibilities include coordinating service calls, managing Service Repair Orders, tracking technician hours with a focus on billable hours, submitting warranty claims, handling shipping and receiving, maintaining the shop budget, promoting department revenue and profitability, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulated policies.
They are also responsible for maintaining the Service Truck fleet and performing additional duties as assigned.
Job requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, proficiency in Microsoft Office, basic reading skills, and attention to detail. Assembly experience is preferred but not required. The role demands good time management, self-motivation, and problem-solving abilities.
