Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Service Technicians.
  • Schedule daily service routes and assign workloads to maximize efficiency.
  • Conduct ride-alongs, performance evaluations, and ongoing technician training.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and troubleshooting for vending and breaktime equipment.
  • Monitor service response times, work quality, and technician productivity.
  • Assist technicians with complex equipment repairs and technical support.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of service parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while resolving escalated service concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations.
  • Monitor service performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure company vehicles, tools, and work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two or more years of experience in equipment service, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid drivers license with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to meet DOT requirements.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work in warehouses, customer locations, and outdoor environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check.
  • Must be able to consent to a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical or trade school education.
  • Experience servicing vending, coffee, beverage, or foodservice equipment.
  • Experience with refrigeration systems.
  • Experience managing service operations or field service teams.
