We are seeking an experienced Service Manager with a strong background in commercial HVAC to lead our service operations team. This is a hands-on leadership role. As Service Manager, you will oversee day-to-day service operations, ensuring technicians are productive, supported, and providing high-quality work. You’ll play a critical role in driving profitability through scheduling, documentation, KPI management, and strong customer relationships.
What you will do as Service Manager:
Lead, mentor, and hold service technicians accountable for performance and professionalism
Provide hands-on field support, job evaluations, and ongoing training
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Manage scheduling, dispatching, and technician productivity
Ensure accurate job documentation (photos, reports, billing details) for proper invoicing
Drive operational efficiency and workflow consistency
Monitor and improve key performance metrics including:
Revenue and gross margin
Conversion rates
Callbacks and service quality
Technician efficiency and billable hours
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high service standards
Enforcing company safety policies and regulatory compliance
What you will need:
EPA Universal Certification
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, diagnostics, repairs, ductwork, and system design
Experience with scheduling and dispatch software
Proven leadership experience managing HVAC service technicians
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
