About the Role
MyTech24 is growing its Des Moines market and seeking a Field Service Manager to lead and develop a team of field technicians. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of technical expertise and frontline leadership. You will serve as the technical anchor and cultural cornerstone for a team that is eager for strong, steady, respectful guidance. The right person will build technical capabilities across the team, drive operational efficiency, and position the market for significant growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical resource for field technicians, offering hands-on and remote troubleshooting support; respond to escalations via phone, video, and on-site as needed, and guide technicians through complex equipment issues.
Lead and Develop Team: Manage, coach, and grow a team of 6-7 technicians (expanding to 10-12), fostering a respectful, inclusive, and high-performance culture while setting clear expectations around professionalism and customer service.
Drive Technician Performance: Conduct regular performance conversations, establish incremental productivity targets, and implement development plans to close skill gaps and elevate individual and team performance.
Oversee Operations: Review service orders, make informed decisions on complex or high-value jobs, and ensure efficient execution while improving technician utilization and maintaining strong customer satisfaction standards.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with dispatch, operations, and leadership teams to ensure alignment on scheduling, service delivery, and overall business objectives.
Support Market Growth: Contribute to revenue growth by building team capability, supporting new account acquisition, and assisting in the scoping and execution of larger projects (e.g., HVAC installs, walk-in systems).
