We are seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to support our Aerial Work Platform business by delivering exceptional technical expertise, customer support, and team leadership in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as the regional service expert for PALFINGER aerial work platforms, providing high-level technical and customer service support to dealers, service partners, and end users across the North American market
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems via phone, email, and on-site support as required
- Manage global product support responsibilities for North America-built aerial work platforms, including feedback to operations, engineering, and quality teams
- Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with dealers and service partners through regular communication and on-site service visits
- Lead, coach, and mentor the Oklahoma City service team, setting clear expectations, fostering professional development, and promoting a safety-focused culture
- Support service documentation, service bulletin strategy, and execution, including manuals, spare parts catalogs, and technical updates
- Partner with internal departments such as Sales, Training, Spare Parts, Network Development, and Engineering to resolve market service issues and improve overall service performance
Your Qualifications
- High school diploma required; technical or business degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, preferably within lifting or aerial work platform equipment
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a technical service team
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical specifications, schematics, and installation manuals
- Proven customer service skills, including experience supporting customers via phone, email, and in person
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and general computer-based business systems
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (approximately 30-70%), including travel within North America and occasional international travel
What We Offer
- Salary Range $96,000 - $115,000, depending upon experience.
