Lackawanna. Kenworth. Service Foreman. $32 - $40/hour. Kenworth Northeast is an independently owned truck dealership supplying the northeast region with The World's Best heavy and medium duty trucks and parts. We are looking for experienced and reliable Shop Foreman to join our Buffalo, NY team. The Service Foreman exercises direct supervision of Service Technicians. Assists them, when necessary, in diagnosing mechanical difficulties and recommending needed repairs. Assists the Service Advisor in greeting customers, selling service labor, writing repair orders, and estimating the costs of repairs within set guidelines. Pay rate for this position is $32-40/hour depending on experience. What You'll Do: Lead, Mentor, and Ensure Quality Repairs * Supervise and Support Service Technicians * Assist with diagnosing mechanical issues and recommending repairs when needed * Ensure repairs are completed to safety and quality standards * Review completed work and perform road tests as needed Support Services and Customer Satisfaction * Assist the Service Advisor with greeting customers, writing repair orders, and estimating repair costs within guidelines * Support warranty documentation and ensure warranty parts are handled correctly * Work with customers to support shop scheduling and pre-plan part requirements * Escalate customer concerns to the Service Manager so issues are resolved before delivery Promote Safe Work Habits * Encourage safe work practices and report safety concerns * Follow company safety policies and procedures Training & Development * Stay current on warranty, technical updates, and leadership skills through ongoing training Requirements * High School Diploma or GED, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience * Minimum four year of experience in a dealership environment, including a proven service background and knowledge of warranties * Must have excellent communication , interpersonal, and customer service skills * Excellent leadership abilities and a positive can-do attitude * CDL Preferred, but not required * Strong work ethic and commitment to the role * May occasionally be required to lift up to 50 lbs. * Must be able to bend, squat, and twist as needed.
