Job Title: Service Engineer

Location(s): Lithia Springs, GA


Overview
We are seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer to support enterprise data center infrastructure and next-generation AI server platforms. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role responsible for maintaining server availability, diagnosing hardware issues, and delivering high-quality on-site technical support.

Previous AI infrastructure experience is not required. Candidates with strong server and data center hardware experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support for enterprise server and data center environments.
  • Perform server installation, deployment, hardware upgrades, and component replacements.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and operating system issues while minimizing system downtime.
  • Replace and configure server components including:
    • CPUs
    • Memory
    • Power supplies
    • GPUs
    • Complete server systems
  • Perform firmware updates and preventive maintenance.
  • Follow established Plans of Action (POAs) and escalation procedures.
  • Document all service activities accurately and in real time.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal technical teams.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide support outside standard business hours when required.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise servers, data center infrastructure, or field service environments.
  • Hands-on experience with server hardware maintenance and repair.
  • Experience with server deployments and hardware replacement.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with water-cooled servers.
  • Experience building or repairing PCs.
  • Vendor certifications are a plus.
  • Interest in learning emerging AI infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience working in mission-critical or enterprise data center environments.

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside within approximately 45 minutes of the Lithia Springs, GA work location.
  • Must be willing to work on-site daily.
  • Must be willing to participate in on-call rotations.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance if required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasional shift support and on-call required).
