Location(s): Cheyenne, WY

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer to support enterprise data center and server infrastructure, including next-generation AI platforms. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role responsible for maintaining server uptime, troubleshooting hardware issues, and performing on-site maintenance. Previous AI platform experience is not required; candidates with strong enterprise server and data center experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site support for enterprise server and data center hardware.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, firmware, and operating system issues.
Perform server builds, deployments, hardware replacements, and firmware upgrades.
Replace server components including CPUs, memory, power supplies, GPUs, and complete server systems.
Perform preventive and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Follow documented Plans of Action (POA) and escalation procedures.
Document all work accurately and in real time.
Collaborate with engineering teams and customers throughout service activities.
Participate in on-call rotations and occasional off-shift support.
Attend required weekly project touchpoint calls.

Required Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience supporting enterprise servers, field service, or data center environments.
Hands-on experience with server hardware, including:
- CPU replacement
- Memory replacement
- Power supplies
- GPUs
- Complete server builds and replacements
Experience with server deployments and hardware swaps.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience documenting technical work and service activities.
Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to participate in on-call and flexible work schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with water-cooled server systems.
Dell or other server hardware certifications.
Experience building PCs.
Continuous learning mindset with knowledge of current server technologies.
Previous experience supporting AI infrastructure is a plus but not required.

Work Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 08:00 AM–05:00 PM.
Occasional shift support required.
On-call rotation required.
