Position: Service Delivery Specialist / Service Support Representative

Summary:

The role is responsible for overseeing site operations, managing service programs, driving account performance, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This position supports operational excellence through service coordination, financial oversight, vendor management, continuous improvement initiatives, and team leadership in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site operations in accordance with contract terms and statement of work.
  • Drive account strategy to achieve revenue growth, service expansion, profitability, and retention goals.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead business review processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collect, analyze, and report customer metrics related to financials, compliance, growth, and profitability.
  • Develop and track action plans to improve operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with asset management, inventory management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support issue resolution and escalation management.
  • Monitor service activities for timeliness, accuracy, and quality.
  • Maintain service and financial documentation for contracts and vendor compliance.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies, invoice issues, and service-related questions.
  • Review field service reports and invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify alternative service methods and parts aligned with operational strategies.
  • Dispatch work orders to vendors and follow up through completion.
  • Manage and monitor high-value repairs and purchase approvals.
  • Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with regional teams and management.
  • Define project scope and manage change requests.
  • Supervise employee workload, goals, and performance review processes.
  • Establish and maintain standards for onsite operations.
  • Support opportunities to expand service and operational capabilities.
  • Participate in process improvement and business performance initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Should have a minimum of 4 years in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in a life sciences environment.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years in a people management or supervisory position.
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency with Windows-based software.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with collaborative working style.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
