Service Coordinator

Location: Madison, CT (Onsite)

Pay: $26.00 - $28.84/hour (equivalent to $60K base) + commission & bonus potential

Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months)

About the Opportunity

Precision X-Ray is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join their team in Madison, CT. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role where you'll serve as the central point of contact for customers and field service operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming service calls and emails, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and professionally
  • Coordinate service visits, installations, and maintenance, including scheduling and technician support
  • Manage return authorizations (RMAs), including issuing RA numbers and tracking equipment
  • Monitor open service cases (repairs, parts orders, backorders) and ensure timely follow-up
  • Process service and parts orders with accuracy and speed
  • Maintain records in Salesforce and internal systems, including service history and case documentation
  • Support service contract renewals, quoting, and sales coordination
  • Partner closely with field technicians and internal teams to meet customer commitments

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or technical service environments
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems (required)
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage high volume and fast turnaround work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working directly with customers, including escalations or time-sensitive issues
  • Ability to work independently and stay on top of competing priorities

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience coordinating service technicians, dispatching, or scheduling
  • Background in manufacturing, engineering, or technical service environments
  • Experience with ERP systems (Sage is a plus)
  • Exposure to quoting, contract renewals, or sales support

  • Responding quickly to customer needs with no backlog
  • Keeping service schedules organized and running smoothly
  • Accurately processing orders, quotes, and service requests
  • Maintaining clean, detailed CRM documentation
  • Supporting both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.84/hr.
