Driving Inventory Excellence, Powering Operational Performance

Position: Parts Manager Service Center Division (SCD)
Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a results-driven Parts Manager to lead warehouse operations and supply chain activities within our Service Center Division. This role is responsible for managing internal warehouse operations and third-party logistics partners while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and performance aligned with customer commitments, cost objectives, and safety standards.

This is a key leadership role for an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about operational excellence, inventory management, and team development.


What You ll Do:

Warehouse & Supply Chain Leadership

  • Oversee all warehouse operations and manage third-party warehouse vendors to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and delivery performance.
  • Lead daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety goals are consistently achieved.
  • Evaluate warehouse and vendor performance, track KPIs, and implement improvements to meet operational targets.

Inventory, Forecasting & Procurement

  • Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and annual physical inventories.
  • Own parts demand forecasting processes, including setting standards, assumptions, and performance metrics.
  • Translate service and business needs into effective inventory and forecasting strategies.
  • Oversee sourcing and procurement activities, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors on pricing, lead times, and delivery terms.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Implement and promote lean principles across warehouse operations to improve throughput, quality, and safety.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance warehouse processes and procedures.
  • Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, streamline operations, and enhance supply chain efficiency.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, coach, and develop warehouse staff in alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance reviews and monitor attendance, safety, and quality metrics.
  • Foster a positive work environment focused on safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Assist in preparing and managing department budgets, staffing plans, and capital expenditures.
  • Monitor operational expenses, including recycling and waste management costs.
  • Support reporting efforts, including weekly and monthly operational and performance metrics.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed and conduct investigations for workplace incidents.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and hourly wage program requirements.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years of warehouse or supply chain experience.
    • At least 3 years of leadership or management experience.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
    • Experience managing third-party logistics or warehouse vendors.
    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
