We are seeking a personable and customer-focused Service Advisor to serve as the key liaison between our customers and service technicians at Peruzzi Buick GMC. You will guide customers through the service process from initial greeting through appointment scheduling, accurate cost estimates, and vehicle delivery - ensuring excellent communication and a positive customer experience.

• Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs

• Listen to customer concerns and document accurate repair descriptions

• Schedule service appointments, vehicle drop-off, and pick-up

• Consult with technicians regarding diagnostics, necessary repairs, and alternatives

• Prepare and explain service cost estimates and timelines

• Verify insurance and warranty coverage when applicable

• Conduct basic inspections and test drives as needed

• Keep customers informed of service updates, changes, and pick-up times

• Promote available services, parts, and maintenance options

• Provide information on warranty protections, cost-saving options, and repair vs. trade-in decisions

• Coordinate parts ordering to ensure availability for scheduled repairs

• Manage daily workflow and schedule in the service department

• Process payments and ensure service details and costs are clearly communicated

• Maintain positive customer relationships to support repeat business

• Associate's degree in mechanics or related field preferred but not required

• Automotive field experience is a plus

• Strong understanding of automotive technology and industry practices

• Proficiency with industry-specific software

• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, customers, and management
