Sales Service Advisor

We are currently seeking an experienced candidate in a customer service, sales, or client-facing role (Automotive and service advisor experience is a plus, but not required).
The Sales Service Advisor role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, understands automotive service, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
As a Sales Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers, helping them understand their vehicle needs while delivering a smooth and professional service experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly with a friendly and professional attitude
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Translate technical information into clear, easy-to-understand explanations
- Recommend necessary services and maintenance based on customer needs
- Prepare accurate repair orders, estimates, and timelines
- Schedule service appointments (in person and over the phone)
- Verify warranties and service contract coverage
- Communicate updates and manage customer expectations throughout the process
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate and timely repairs
- Maintain complete and compliant documentation
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive service sales
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Valid and clean NY State driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Outgoing personality with strong relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores
- Experience using MPI or manufacturer service platforms
