McMahon's Best-One Tire & Auto Care is a family owned company that has been in business in Fort Wayne, Indiana since 1969. The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling appointments, helping customers with their automotive needs and will act as the liaison between the customer and the technician. Other duties are as follows:Essential FunctionsEnsure paperwork is prepared for technicians immediatelyEnsure all paperwork is properly filled out, updated, completed, and closed according to McMahon Tire and customer standards; mileage, hours, unit #, PO, etc.Answer phones and greet and assist customers in a respectful and timely manner.Operate point of sale system to create work orders and invoice customers in a timely and efficient mannerCompute sales prices, total purchases, and process paymentsMaintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment, exchanges and returns, and security practicesOpen and close cash registers, including counting money, balancing drawers, and making depositsGenerate computer billsClean shelves, counters, and tablesMay act as a fill-in at our other retail locations as neededMeet the requirements outlined in the company's employee handbookOther duties as neededRequirementsMust perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.Ability to consistently follow store policies and procedures.Ability to read and complete instructions.The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.Team-Player: Works well as a member of a group.Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.Physical Demands / Work EnvironmentLifting: Occasional lifting over 10 poundsOccasional squatting, bending, and twisting.Standing for extended periods of time.Environment: Temperatures range depending on the season.Experience2-4 years related experienceCertifications / LicensesValid driver's license; driving record must meet company's insurance requirementsOngoing training is required per company's standardsComputerMust be competent in MS Word, Excel, and MaddencoAbility to learn and operate point of sale system to create work orders and invoice customers in a timely and efficient manner#J-18808-Ljbffr
