The Service Advisor is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth processing of service labor and parts purchases.
- Greet customers, accurately record concerns, and create precise work orders.
- Monitor repair order status, keeping customers and technicians informed.
- Gain training on warranty coverage for different franchises.
- Contact previous customers for maintenance appointments and notify them when parts arrive.
- Assist with closing tickets and informing customers when vehicles are ready.
- Explain charges and report service issues to management.
- Aim to meet sales, profit, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Enforce safety procedures in the work area and perform additional duties as needed.
