Service AdvisorResponsibilitiesReview daily appointment schedules and be prepared to greet customers in the drive with knowledge of their appointmentReview primary appointment reason with the customer and ask customer questions to identify any other issues their vehicle may be experiencingGenerate repair orders for customersDispatch the job to the properly trained technicianDevelop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and laborCalculate customer's payment; including deductiblesVerify warranty and service contract coverage by examining documents and recordsArrange towing and temporary transportation for the customerAnswer incoming calls from customers to address concerns and set appointments for future service needsMake outgoing calls to customers to update them on the status of their vehicle in service.Any additional training or responsibilities as deemed necessary by Service ManagerQualificationsMust have a valid driver's licenseHigh school education or equivalentAbility to drive a manual vehicle preferred, but not requiredExcellent oral communication skillsExperience working in cashier/credit card systems preferred but not required.Must be able to stand for long periodsFlexibility with schedule to work nights and weekendsStrong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skillsMust be able to manage relationships across all channels and levelsRicart Automotive is an equal opportunity employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
