Twelve Restaurant & Bar is a family owned & operated upscale-casual restaurant founded in 2013. We pride ourselves in being the "Cheers" of west Wichita, entertaining our guests with our wonderful, 100% from scratch menu and the delightful personalities of our staff. At Twelve Restaurant & Bar, we have an amazing kitchen and bar creating wonderful dishes and cocktails for our guests to enjoy...but we need charming, friendly and knowledgeable people to sell it to them. Our servers earn great money, and delight our guests on a daily basis!

Responsibilities for daily dining room opening

• Ensure cleanliness of all tables, chairs & barstools
• Ensure cleanliness of floors, walls & booths
• Ensure sufficient silverware & linens for entire shift
• Ensure cleanliness of all plates, cups etc. used for service

Responsibilities during service

• Interact with all guests in a friendly, helpful & knowledgeable fashion
• Guide guests through menu and help to make decisions on food & beverages
• Enter all orders through Point of Sale in a quickly and accurately
• Make notes of any allergies & communicate to kitchen effectively
• Ensure all guests ordering alcoholic beverages are of legal drinking age
• Accurately and efficiently handle tabs, and make change

Other responsibilities:

• Ensuring dining room, tables, chairs, booths & floors are clean and safe for next shift
• Help to maintain overall restaurant cleanliness & sanitation
• Polishing & rolling silverware for next shift
• Ensuring all plates, cups & glasses are ready for next shift
• Communicating with coworkers, front of house and back of house to ensure smooth shifts & 100% guest satisfaction
