The primary purpose of the Server is to create an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guests while in the dining room. The Server will report to the Chef Manager and follow policies and procedures set by Lockwood Management.
Typical Duties:
- Follow established dining room practices to provide high quality service to residents and guests during meal services and special functions.
- Create and maintain a customer centered service culture by demonstrating proactive hospitality with prospects, residents, family members and fellow community assocaites.
- Deliver meals to resident apartments when necessary.
- Ensure all meal coures are accurately plated, professionally served and cleared according to Lockwood standards.
- Perform shift duties according to the dining handbook, this includes sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, washing and putting away dishes, prepping food or other items for the next day.
Must be able to relate to senior citizens in a curteous, understanding and cooperative manner.
Capable of lifing, carrying, and balancing a 15 pound tray.
