Join Our Team! Exclusive Disney perks. General Description A Server Assistant is responsible for supporting the Servers in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Primary responsibilities include clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables; stocking and maintaining essential service items such as silverware, water pitchers, ice, and other dining supplies; and delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables while assisting with food service in a timely and professional manner. Excellent guest service, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential for success in this position. Work Duties - Assist in the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
- Assist Servers in the clearing, cleaning, and setting of guest tables
- Assist Servers in delivering food orders from the kitchen to the guest (“Food-running”)
- Assist Servers in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of each side station
- Assist Servers in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of each table section
- Assist Servers in re-stocking and maintaining essential restaurant items, including water pitchers, ice, silverware, glasses, plates, napkins, tablecloths etc.
- Assist with any additional job duties as assigned by managers/supervisors
- Perform all duties in an accurate and efficient manner
- Have a basic knowledge of restaurant menus and daily specials
- Have basic knowledge of acceptable forms of payment and the Disney Dining Plan
- Complete all assigned opening and closing duties
- Display proper food safety procedures at all times
- Follow all necessary laws and processes for the safe service of alcohol
- Work closely with all other team members and display good teamwork
- Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics and Company Guidelines at all times
- All other tasks as assigned
