Senior Windows Server Administrator

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Windows Server Admin to accelerate restoration and hardening of core server services while internal staff focus on infrastructure fortification.This role focuses on hardening and optimizing Active Directory (AD), including validating configurations, implementing tiering and Privileged Access Workstations (PAW), tightening GPOs, and deploying auditing and alerting tools. It also involves tuning LogRhythm (or similar SIEM) for reliable log forwarding, managing privileged access with JEA/JIT, and supporting patching, server templates, and recovery documentation. Key deliverables include a hardened AD checklist, audit runbook, SIEM deployment guide, PAW rollout plan, and knowledge transfer to the server team.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years Windows Server/AD; incident-recovery or greenfield AD experience.
Hands-on with AD hardening, tiering, PAW/JEA/JIT concepts.
Experience deploying/tuning LogRhythm or similar SIEM ingestion for Windows infrastructure.
PowerShell and documentation discipline. null
