Senior Water Project Manager - Conveyance

You'll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities.ResponsibilitiesLead planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater conveyance projects, including pipelines, force mains, gravity sewers, and pump stations.Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control across all phases.Coordinate with clients, permitting agencies, contractors, and internal technical teams.Prepare and review engineering reports, design documents, specifications, and cost estimates.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Support permitting and environmental documentation processes. Conduct work to professional standards and to the firm's QA/QC requirements. Participate in QA/QC programs for other projects as requested by managers.Perform schedule reviews on construction projects and maintain/develop schedules for design and construction of assigned projects.Provide mentoring to engineering staff to support the team's technical skill development.Manage projects' budget and schedule.Lead proposal development efforts for new business.Grow relationships with existing and prospective clients, including business development, sales and marketing.QualificationsBachelor's and/or Master's degree in environmental or civil engineering.Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to acquire upon six months of hiring date.10+ years of water/wastewater design experience in municipal water, wastewater, water resource, and/or conveyance projects in the Central US region; preference to 10 years of experience in the Texas market.Significant experience in desalination plants, water and wastewater treatment, conveyance and pump stations.Experience coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks with attention to detail, schedule, and budget.Ability to present technical information clearly, both written and oral, with strong technical writing skills.Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory/permitting agencies including TCEQ and EPA.As a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
