About the Opportunity
Our client is building a new behavioral health staffing division focused on local contracts, not travel assignments. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader to build and scale a business from the ground up within an established platform.
The Senior Vice President will serve as a key architect of this new division, responsible for developing the go-to-market strategy, driving revenue growth, and building high-performing sales and recruiting teams. This role offers a clear path to President based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Growth Leadership
Build and execute the go-to-market strategy for a new behavioral health staffing division.
Define target markets, service offerings, and growth priorities.
Scale the business to achieve sustained, double-digit revenue growth.
Establish a scalable operating model from an early-stage foundation.
Sales & Client Leadership
Personally drive new business development, especially in early stages.
Build and lead a high-performing sales organization.
Develop pricing strategy, deal structure, and account expansion plans.
Establish and maintain long-term client relationships.
Recruiting & Delivery Leadership
Build and oversee recruiting teams aligned to each vertical.
Ensure strong candidate pipelines and delivery performance.
Own key performance metrics including fill rates, time-to-fill, and retention.
Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and margin discipline.
Operational & Financial Leadership
Own full P&L, including revenue, margin, and cost management.
Lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
Partner with shared services (HR, finance, marketing, technology).
Drive operational efficiency and scalable processes.
Leadership & Culture
Hire, develop, and lead sales and recruiting leaders.
Build a performance-driven, entrepreneurial culture.
Establish accountability, cadence, and execution discipline.
Act as a visible and engaged leader within the organization.
Required Experience
10+ years of leadership experience in healthcare staffing.
Direct experience in behavioral health staffing to include roles such as mental health counselors, ABA therapists (BCBAs), drug & alcohol counselors, etc.
Proven track record of building and scaling a staffing business (ideally $40M+).
Strong client-facing sales experience with history of generating new business.
Experience leading both sales and recruiting organizations.
P&L ownership or direct responsibility for revenue and margin performance.
