About This Role:
We are seeking a Veterinarian Recruiter who will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment of veterinarians across an assigned region of hospitals within Companion Pet Partners. Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, this role serves as a strategic partner to Regional Directors and hospital leadership, aligning hiring strategies with regional growth goals, workforce plans, and clinical staffing needs. The recruiter will proactively build DVM talent pipelines and deliver high-quality candidates to ensure each hospital is fully staffed with top veterinary talent.
What Success Looks Like:
Manage full-cycle recruitment for veterinarians within an assigned geographic region
Partner closely with Regional Directors to understand business objectives, growth plans, and staffing priorities
Develop and execute region-specific recruiting strategies to address market dynamics and talent availability
Build and maintain strong pipelines of active and passive veterinary candidates
Serve as a trusted advisor to Regional Directors on talent market trends, compensation, and hiring challenges
Conduct candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation
Represent the organization at regional industry events, veterinary schools, and career fairs
Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience aligned with the company’s employer brand
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of recruiting experience; healthcare or veterinary recruiting preferred
Experience supporting multi-site or regionally structured organizations strongly preferred
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools (iCIMS preferred)
Proven ability to build relationships with senior leaders and influence hiring decisions
Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn, job boards, and networking strategies
Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple requisitions across several locations in a fast-paced environment
